Pharmaceutical and Environmental product liability cases require additional investigation into possible alternative causation for the alleged injury/illness. As our investigators perform the background investigation on the plaintiff, they also identify possible alternative causation for the alleged illness, such as genetic predisposition. Our investigators are experts in genealogy research that aids in the development of this defense strategy. In addition, our investigators identify possible occupational hazards and environmental hazards to be used to mitigate the client’s liability.
- Automotive
Researching Automobile Liability cases requires background investigations of the parties involved and a “hands-on” examination of the vehicles and the accident scene. Our investigators have experience investigating cases involving alleged tire failure, seatbelt malfunction and roll-over. Our investigation includes scene inspection, vehicle inspection and witness interviews to gather the information necessary to aid defense counsel in serving their client.

Baby Cribs and Children’s Car Seats are designed to protect children when used properly. Unfortunately, these devices are sometimes the target of litigation when a child is hurt. LAW Investigative Group personnel understand the sensitive nature of these investigations and as such conduct the research in a discrete and professional manner.

DUE DILIGENCE
Our investigators have both the business knowledge and investigative experience to confidently research principles and organizations in preparation for a merger or acquisition. These investigations include identification of assets and liabilities, as well as a background investigation of the senior management of the acquired company. Our findings are often used by the parent company in determining placement of mid-level and senior executives in the new organization.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Copyright and trade dress infringement poses a risk of significant financial loss to businesses. LAW Investigative Group personnel are experienced in the internet and print media research necessary to identify such infringements. As a final element, our investigators are equipped to obtain legal covert surveillance video of the infringement for use by counsel.
SURVEILLANCE
Surveillance is a tool that requires both patience and the right technique. Surveillance is primarily thought of in Worker’s Compensation and matrimonial cases. However, surveillance may be useful in a variety of case types. Including establishing that a plaintiff was not injured to the extent as alleged in the complaint. Surveillance may also be useful in identifying potential witnesses that would otherwise not be identified.
